A Gong Bath is a form of meditation that uses sound to bring you into a relaxed state.
The sounds used vary, but in general include, Gongs, Tibetan Bowls, Singing Bowls, Wah-wah bars, chimes, and the human voice.
What does a gong bath do for you?
Gong Baths use vibrational sounds to help bring your body into balance. When your body is in balance then anxiety and stress can be reduced, sleeping patterns can be improved and your bodies general health and well-being can be enhanced.
How do you feel after a gong bath?
After a Gong Bath, you can feel very relaxed and sleepy. It is not advised to drive or operate machinery during or after a Gong Bath until you know you are fully alert again.
What to wear to a Gong Bath?
It is important that you feel nice and comfortable during your Gong Bath so you should wear what you feel happy in. However, it may be a good idea to wear something loose-fitting. If you are able to lie down, then a mat to lie on would be good, as well as a nice warm blanket and pillow. A water bottle is also advised.
How long does a gong bath last?
Our in-person Gong Baths will usually last for an hour, and our online Gong Baths are usually around 30 minutes long.
Can vibrations heal?
Everything in the universe is a vibration. This includes our bodies. When our heartbeats, it creates a vibration. It is said that when our bodies are in optimal health the vibrations are harmonious. If we so much as cut a finger, the vibration in this area of our body will vibrate at a different resonance than the rest of our body. This vibration is thought to be a weaker vibration. The vibrations from the Gong Bath will encourage the weaker vibrations to meet the stronger vibrations heard during the session, and thus helping to bring the body back into balance. When the body is in balance is it more efficient at reducing stress, anxiety, and general health and well-being.
What is a virtual Gong Bath?
A Virtual Gong Bath is an online live Gong Bath in which you are able to join and enjoy the peaceful and relaxing sounds of the Gongs, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, and many other wonderful musical instruments.
Virtual Sound Baths have the same benefits online as it does they do in person.
Benefits of a Gong Bath:
1. Anxiety can be reduced.
2. Stress can be reduced.
3. Sleep can be improved.
